The Portland Branch will hold a two-session Visioning Charrette in December 2009 to reinvent the Portland LEED Users Group (PLUG) to better serve our green building community. PLUG was formed more than 6 years ago as the first LEED Users Group in the United States. In our December Charrette, we ask you to help envision how this group can best provide a forum for addressing the challenges faced in the design, construction and operation of green buildings.
Ralph DiNola, Principal at Green Building Services, will facilitate both charrette sessions. Ralph is one of Portland’s top sustainability experts, and serves as both a USGBC Faculty Member and Board Member of the Cascadia Region Green Building Council.
Session 1: Thursday December 3rd from 7:30-9:30 AM
Session 2: Thursday December 17th from 7:30-9:30 AM
Location for both sessions: Boora Architects at 720 SW Washington, Portland
More details on the Visioning event are coming soon! We welcome your participation.
Stay posted by reading Cascadia’s “Upcoming Events in Oregon” e-newsletter and checking in on the Cascadia calendar.
Please RSVP for both sessions. The two visioning sessions will build upon one-another so we would prefer continuity of participants. You can register for the December 17 session here.
